Claim Representatives, Commercial General Liability  Naperville, IL Travelers has done it again – we’re growing !!  Due to substantial growth in our office, Travelers is looking for Claim Representatives in our General Liability department.  SUMMARY In this role, you will manage a caseload of General Liability (CGL) claims.  You will be expected to investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle claims within your assigned authority limits.  During the investigation process, you will be responsible for contacting witnesses, insured(s) and claimants in an attempt to discover the facts and move the claim to resolution.  You will be expected to apply case law as applicable and interpret coverage under a general liability policy.     QUALIFICATIONS To qualify for this position, you must have previous liability experience, preferably in General Liability, third-party property experience, or a position in liability where the incumbent understands comparative negligence. Bodily injury experience preferred.   Must be able to interpret coverage language (evaluating a contract), writing Reservation of Rights letters (ROR), and effectively communicate coverage verbally and in written formats.   Must be able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining an effective diary system.  Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel is a plus.
