Key Responsibilities:
Senior level talent to lead the business development, client account growth, and practice area knowledge for its federal government and military sector. The right individual will have 15+ years of experience, specifically in the area of selling and managing large change management consulting engagements of $500K to $5MM in value. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of strategic planning, balanced scorecard, portfolio management, financial management and business intelligence services. In addition, a background of government or military service is a strong plus. The majority of the work activity will occur in and around Washington D.C.
Primary duties include:
Creating new selling opportunities directly into federal agencies, military organizations and NGOs via contacts and past experiences Fostering strategy key account growth with existing clients through account planning Closing new or extension business via own talents or leveraging internal SMEs Follow-thru of sold engagements in a delivery oversight mode Continuous building of a sales pipeline

Great presentation and communication abilities Ability to work with teams and in a matrix Solid understanding of strategic planning, logic model, balanced scorecard, and program/portfolio management Complete knowledge of government contracting and procurement models
