HISPANIA CAPITAL PARTNERS

Our mission is to provide growth capital for outstanding Hispanic executives serving the U.S. Hispanic market.

Who We Are

Hispania Capital Partners (HCP) is a private equity firm established in February 2003 as a Small Business Investment Company (SBIC). HCP's mission is to provide growth capital for outstanding Hispanic executives serving the U.S. Hispanic market. These investments are to be made in established companies with total revenues ranging from $5 million to $100 million in our targeted industry segments.

The principals of Hispania Capital Partners have more than 40 years of combined relevant experience in private equity, operations and investment banking. Furthermore, no other Hispanic-focused private equity firms with comparable market penetration, capabilities or geographic scope currently exist in the marketplace.

With a population exceeding 40 million, U.S. Hispanics constitute the largest immigrant community in the nation's history. As a result of continuing immigration inflows and higher birth rates, the Hispanic population in the United States is growing at a rate of eight times the national average. Today, the estimated $650 billion combined purchasing power of the U.S. Hispanic community makes it the third largest economy in Latin America.

Many companies providing goods and services to the U.S. Hispanic market are privately held and for the most part are family-owned. While operating in rapidly growing markets, these companies are often undercapitalized and lack the resources necessary to realize their potential. The expanding number of Hispanic executives with proven track records represents an important pool of intellectual and entrepreneurial capital, and consequently, a source of investment opportunities.

Mission

Our mission is to be the leading provider of equity capital to this unique and growing business sector. We will partner with outstanding business leaders, executives and their management teams to create leading companies in their fields that will benefit from the dynamic trends of the U.S. Hispanic market and will produce superior investment returns to our investors.

Strategy

Our strategy capitalizes on partnering with accomplished managers to take advantage of the current demographic trends, the inadequate access to equity capital and the lack of initiatives focused upon the development of attractive investment opportunities with the Hispanic business sector.

Investment Philosophy

Our investment philosophy is centered in creating an effective partnership with outstanding management teams, possessing the requisite commitment, skills and experience to succeed. In focusing our efforts on companies serving the U.S. Hispanic market, unique investment opportunities are created by:

  • Identifying trends in the Hispanic markets early, thus anticipating and financing their expansion;

  • Developing a leading role in structuring industry consolidations

  • Identifying and attracting highly qualified executives and structuring opportunities that will enable them to participate in the management and equity ownership of a new, more entrepreneurial company or consolidating platform

  • Building a unique network of information and referrals.

The strength of our nation is rooted in the perseverance and desire for progress of immigrants from around the world. Throughout our history, immigrants have provided the American economy a continuous stream of human and intellectual capital that is vital for its development. Like their predecessors from other regions of the world, Hispanic Americans represent one more facet of this uniquely American experience.

The culture and preferences of Hispanic Americans, uniquely diverse within their own community, have greatly impacted the character and economy of this great nation. Their increasing impact on and inclusion within the U.S. economy spawns both a dynamic business environment and expansive investment opportunities.

Modern technology enables Hispanic Americans to maintain close links with their countries of origin. These technological advances, combined with the increasing globalization of trade and economic integration, magnify the potential business opportunities available in the Hispanic business sector.
