The position would include labor relations (NLRB proceedings, collective bargaining negotiations, and arbitrations); representing employers before state and federal administrative agencies, and counseling employers under federal and state employments laws (including FLSA, FMLA, ADA and Title VII, drafting policies and procedures and advice on preventative strategies). The ideal candidate will have a solid book of business and the skill set necessary for client development and practice leadership. The position is located the client's Southfield office, where the partner would be responsible for developing and leading the labor and employment practice.
