Companies Take an Active Role in Managing Their Reputations

New Survey to Shed Light on Companies’ Ability to Manage Their Reputations

IncreMental Advantage's Reputation Management Conference

PRINCETON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--“A growing number of companies realize that their reputations are not merely a reflection of their relations with the media, employees, vendors, shareholders and regulators. Rather, their reputations are a precursor to their relations with these important stakeholders,” said David Wanetick, Managing Director of IncreMental Advantage. “Thus, forward-thinking companies are developing programs to enhance their reputations as well as are devising crisis management strategies to defend their reputations,” he continued. “There is a lot at stake as research demonstrates direct linkage between a company’s reputation and its market capitalization.”

IncreMental Advantage announced the launch of its unique survey designed to measure the importance that companies attach to the management of their reputations.

Issues addressed in this survey include:

  • Who is responsible for the active management of firm-wide reputation
  • How to achieve management buy-in to reputation management
  • Who can be terminated and on what grounds to protect the firm’s reputation
  • How technology makes companies’ reputations more vulnerable to attack
  • Responses to challenges to an entity’s reputation
  • Best practices for measuring a company’s reputation
  • Devising a crisis management plan

Professionals engaged in media relations, brand management, investor relations, corporate communications and the like are invited to participate in this survey. The survey may be accessed at the following link:
