For Immediate Release Friday, August 03, 2007    (BPRW) EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION EXTENDED TO AUGUST 17 FOR 9th ANNUAL NATIONAL BLACK PUBLIC RELATIONS SOCIETY’S CONFERENCE AND CAREER FAIR (BLACK PR WIRE) CHICAGO – The National Black Public Relations Society (NBPRS) has extended its early-bird discount registration rate for its 9th annual Conference and Career Fair to be held September 20-23 at the Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza. Attendees now have until Friday, August 17 to register for the conference at the discounted rate of $375 for professional and associate members and $400 for non-members. After August 17, fees will increase to $450 and $575 respectively. The registration package includes all conference materials, meals as specified, meetings, special events, and membership dues for one year. Registration for graduate and undergraduate students is $100. Conference attendees will receive a guaranteed discounted rate of only $159 per day when reservations are made by August 27 at the Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza. The hotel is within walking distance of the Chicago Loop, the “Magnificent Mile” and the Sears Tower--the sites that draw millions to Chicago each year. The conference, “Making Our Communities Better through the Power of Public Relations,” will examine the presence, influence and power of PR and ways public relations can impact the community. There will be valuable, career-building insights, exciting networking events and onsite exhibitors who will showcase new products and services.
